On April 29, 2011 Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan board chair Grant Kook, CHFS President and CEO Brynn Boback-Lane, Health Minister Don McMorris, Mosaic Senior Vice-President of Potash Operations Norm Beug, Saskatoon Regional Health Authority chair Jim Rhode and CHFS Capital Campaign Co-Chair Jim Yuel celebrate the kick off of CHFS “Be a Part of It” capital campaign with a donation of $4 million from Mosaic.

Money raised from the capital campaign will fund new pediatric and maternal equipment and furnishings, research and education and patient care enhancement for the new hospital. Mosaic’s donation will go towards this and is paying for the advertising and promotion of CHFS’s capital campaign.

In recognition of this contribution, when Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan is fully operational in early 2016, mothers, newborns and their families staying in hospital after the birth of their child will see the Mosaic name greet them as they receive care in the postpartum unit.
