Recommendations on Q.C. appointments are made by a selection committee which includes Saskatchewan’s Justice Minister, the Chief Justice of the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal or the Chief Justice of the Court of Queen’s Bench, and the past presidents of both the Saskatchewan branch of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Saskatchewan.

“This honourary designation recognizes lawyers for their exceptional merit and contribution to the legal profession in our province,” says Justice Minister and Attorney General Gordon Wyant. “All of the appointees have diverse legal experience and are committed to strengthening our legal system and communities.”
