“Volunteers are the roots of strong communities. Just like roots are essential for trees to bloom, volunteers are essential for communities to boom. Thanks to volunteers, our communities grow strong and resilient. Even the tiniest volunteer effort leaves a profound and lasting trace in a community, much like tree rings that appear over time.” – Volunteer Canada

April 10 to April 16, 2016 is National Volunteer Week, a time to celebrate and thank Canada’s 12.7 million volunteers.

Parkridge Centre, a long term care facility in Saskatoon Health Region, is proud of all the volunteers who give to their facility and would like to thank the many schools, community based organizations and individuals who give the gift of time, energy and passion in order to improve the quality of life of Parkridge residents, families and staff.

Volunteer opportunities within Parkridge Centre are flexible, fulfilling, fun and rewarding. To become a volunteer today, contact Kimberly Quam, Manager of Volunteer Workforce PRC at 306-655-3865 for more information.RR-2016-04-13-Parkridge-volunteerberry social volunteers RR-2016-04-13-Parkridge-volunteermideival-fair-6 RR-2016-04-13-Parkridge-volunteerRonRalphBen
