Yes, there are more parkade disruptions coming to Royal University Hospital (RUH).

Contractors have made significant progress on the parkade repairs for RUH which started last fall. However, they have reached a point where they need to close the parkade vehicle ramp on Level 3, starting Monday, July 4 through to late July.

The good news is this is the last piece of repair work required for this portion of the parkade on Level 3, which is immediately next to the Saskatoon Cancer Centre. Throughout the summer, Level 3 repairs will continue in different locations. The work on Level 3 is expected to be completed this fall.

Anyone who uses the Saskatoon Cancer Centre entrance to access the remainder of the RUH parkade will be affected by this closure. You will not be able to access the rest of the RUH parkade and will need to use Hospital Drive. As well, you will not be able to exit from the parkade through the Cancer Centre exit during this time.

Also, parkers with mobility challenges, cancer patients, and new parents who park immediately next to the RUH entrance may be affected. If the area next to the RUH entrance is full, you will need to exit the parkade and drive to College Drive to access the parkade via Hospital Drive. More designated parking is available on Level 2.

The RUH Parkade Courtesy Shuttle is available to transport you to various hospital entrances from your parking location. They can be reached at 306-514-7577.
