The bride entered to the sounds of “Largo” played by pianist Ruby Regier. The matron of honour was Leanne Toovey, daughter of the bride, the best man was Jack Robson, friend of the groom, and the groomsman was Matt Kappler-Ritchie, stepson of the bride. Kendra Toovey, granddaughter of the bride, was the flower girl, and Austin Toovey, grandson of the bride, the ring bearer.

The happy couple exchanged their vows and rings, supported by many of their friends from the Christian Fellowship Church congregation, Lodge staff, CPL residents, family and friends.

The rings.

The rings.

Jack Robson sang, “Could I Have this Dance,” during the signing of the register. Following the ceremony, all were treated to a delicious potluck banquet coordinated by their Christian Fellowship friends. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful wedding.

Barb and Carl wish to thank Pastor Brad, staff, family and friends who helped in any way to make a very special wedding day a most memorable one.

“We are so happy to have been able to share this day with Mr. and Mrs. Mayers and the community,” said Gloria Chetyrbuk of Central Parkland Lodge. “Special moments like this will always be remembered at a very special place called Central Parkland Lodge/Lanigan Integrated Hospital. Home is definitely where the heart is!”
